In the 24 hours after treatment:

  • aromatherapy-oilsAvoid stimulants – coffee, tea, alcohol, cigarettes or at least cut down
  • Drink plenty of water, especially after each raindrop session, this will ease the removal of energy blocks and toxicity.
  • Be aware that adjustments can continue throughout the week after treatment.
  • Eat a light diet/avoid heavy meals.  Eat fruit, salads and vegetables.
  • Relax – listen to music, take regular relaxation periods, self massage, use oils, etc

You can also expect strong emotional releases since the oils go directly to the brain which co-ordinates the memory of stored emotions.  The oils go directly to muscles, tissues and organs throughout the body where emotions can also be stored in cellular memory.  Essential oils can penetrate cellular membranes and release these forgotten emotions.  These emotions may be witnessed during a treatments or after the treatment.

It can take 12 hours or more for all the essential oils to be absorbed through the skin.  As only part of the Raindrop Therapy has to do with the absorption of the oils through the skin.  The other part of the therapy is inhaling the oils to allow the healing molecules to enter the bloodstream.  The fragrances linger for over 12 hours, continually administering healing via the respiratory system.   For this reason, we recommend that you do not shower or bathe for over 12 hours to allow the oils to continue their work.

Experiences with Raindrop Therapy may differ with each session.  Raindrop Therapy always works in the same way, but you may have different experiences due to different issues, thoughts, feelings and emotions.


Healing Crisis

Raindrop Therapy stimulates detoxification of the body, occasionally you may experience reactions as the body begins its self healing process and the elimination of toxins.  This is known as a healing crisis or healing response.

During a healing response, it is important to tune in to what you feel and need and to offer yourself (or ask others for) all the love and care that you need to get through it. Your body is infinitely intelligent. With adequate resources: healing, rest, clean water, fresh air, exercise, sleep, a healthy emotional peace and an individualised healthy diet, it can work miracles in healing.
